To provide the core Birthday Club experience, we collect basic profile information including your Name, Email Address, and Birthday. We also store your provided Payment Handles (Venmo, CashApp, etc.) to facilitate gift-giving among your club members.

2. How We Use Data

• To synchronize and display upcoming birthdays within your private clubs.
• To generate payment requests and ledger entries for missed birthdays.
• To send you push or email notifications regarding club activity and gift arrivals.

3. Data Sharing

Your data is never sold to third parties. Your profile information and payment handles are only visible to members of the clubs you have explicitly joined.

4. Security

We use industry-standard encryption and secure authentication via NextAuth to protect your account. However, we do not store sensitive financial data like credit card numbers; all peer-to-peer payments happen on external platforms.
